About Us
The Ecosystem Coldharbour Consortium brings together well-respected community organisations with experience working with the community to deliver a variety of initiatives, including violence reduction.
The Consortium aims to address root causes of violence affecting young people and the community and to provide positive opportunities with a specific focus on tailored interventions. The area of focus is Coldharbour Ward and the surrounding areas, and while the spread of this work will be fluid and inclusive, it will be focused on the ward’s largest estates of Angell Town, Loughborough and Moorlands as well as central Brixton.

This is not about short-term box ticking, but about creating long-term strategies that will out-live our programme and lead to lasting change.
At the high level, the VRU has asked us to produce
1. A Stronger Network
2. Increased Capacity of those doing the work
3. Increased Community Representation in the decision-making process.
We plan to accomplish this by…
Working directly with Community members to elevate their voices, involve them in the solutions, and support their ideas
Building Partnerships with the key players so we can synchronise our efforts
Empowering Young People through practical work, learning & development, and meaningful support
